How long does CBD Cream take to work?

When Can I Expect Results?

How quickly your body responds to the cream depends on a number of factors. The dose you’re taking, your body’s individual response and how often you use your CBD all affect how quickly you begin to feel relief.

If you’re a regular CBD user, you can probably expect to feel the effects within  ten minutes of applying your cream. Some users get relief almost immediately, however it depends on a number of factors.

Other Factors such as the below also depend on how long CBD Cream can take to work

  1.  Bodyweight
  2.  Metabolism
  3.  Fitness and health

CBD creams work by penetrating the dermal and sub-dermal layers beneath the skin, binding to our cell receptors in our muscles and joints. In this case the way you apply the product will have an impact on its effects. For example by simply applying a thin layer not massaging it in to the skin properly will not have the same impact as if you had taken a minute or so to massage it into the skin thoroughly. This will help it penetrate the skin quicker, therefore speeding up the absorption into the endocannibinoid system.

The bottom line

Many of our customers report the effects working within as little as ten to twenty minutes. It will vary from person to person.

Be sure to massage it in to the skin thoroughly and record the dosages to see how quickly it takes effect for you and how long it lasts for, therefore you will then know how often you need to apply it.

Finding the right dosage of CBD can be a tricky. The appropriate amount varies for each individual, as every person has a unique biology that results in a different reaction.

People react differently to CBD Cream so be persistent

Some people may find that the CBD is not taking effect as soon as they expect. Some people take it for a couple of days, don’t notice any improvement, and then stop. Building up CBD in your system can take 1-3 weeks of regular daily doses.

If you do not notice anything after 1 week, try taking more CBD frequently throughout the day or at a higher dose. You can also work with your doctor to find the best CBD dosage for you.

You may discover that CBD simply doesn’t work for you. For example just like taking an aspirin or antihistamine people react differently and it may or may not work for you. Everyone reacts differently depending on their biological makeup.

So how do you figure out what’s right for you?

Start with a low dose and slowly increase it over time until you find your “sweet spot.”

Please note: We have to state that CBD is a natural supplement and not a prescription or medicine and therefore is not guaranteed to relieve any pain or treat, cure any disease.

Some studies suggest that CBD could help for certain pain issues. A 2022 survey and studyTrusted Source found that CBD improved pain, physical function, inflammation, and sleep quality in participants who had arthritis.
